Abstract
Describes fire risk assessment in premises, requirements for care home residents and staff and looks at managing fire safety. Provides guidance for reducing the likelihood of fire and restricting fire and smoke spread, means of escape, fire detection and warning as well as the means for fire fighting and facilities for the fire and rescue service.
