Abstract

Gives advice and guidance on the legal requirements, design applications, maintenance and operation of hot and cold water supply, storage and distribution systems in all types of healthcare premises. Provides information on thermostatic mixing valve configurations, water quality in relation to the preservation of system components, a summary of regulations and standards pertaining to water quality, and an overview of bacterial contaminants and how to prevent them getting into systems.
