Abstract
Views are sought to simplify the control of small domestic sewage discharges from septic tanks and small sewage treatment plants. The aim is to reduce administrative burden for those rural properties that are not connected to the main sewerage network and apply risk based approach to prevent pollution, protect public health, improve drinking water supply and protect sensitive habitats.
