Abstract
Presents key data and expert opinion on the human toxicology and non-soil intakes of mercury including its elemental, inorganic and organic mercury forms. It aims to derive oral tolerable daily intakes (TDIs), which in turn are needed to derive Soil Guideline Values (SGVs) for mercury i.e. concentrations of mercury in soil that will pose no significant threat to health.
