Abstract
Contains a summary of the responses to the consultation 'Implementing the Water Environment and Water Services (Scotland) Act 2003 - Environmental Standards for the Water Environment' which proposed a range of new and updated environmental standards for Scotland's water environment. It is proposed to introduce the standards during 2014 to allow them to be used as the basis for SEPA's classification exercise to inform the development of river basin management plans.
