Abstract

A process for adopting extended handover and professional aftercare for new and refurbished buildings, which starts at project inception and runs alongside all forms of procurement. It allows for a full programme of post-occupancy evaluation and can be used to improve a building's performance and make it sustainable over the long term. Contains a design stage checklist to bring the Framework into line with BG 45/2014 How to procure soft landings.
