Abstract

Presents the results from an investigation on half-joints from Mossband Viaduct. Generally the joints were found to be in good condition, though there were some exceptions. The results indicated where the potential corrosion risk was at its greatest and highlights the important of regular inspections to identify priority action for replacing failed joints. Recommendations emphasize the management of structures containing half-joints and post-tensioned concrete structures with half-joints.
