Abstract

Provides further information on clauses 17 to 19 of the Infrastructure Bill as introduced in the House of Lords on 5 June 2014: allowing the examining panel of inspectors to be appointed immediately after an application has been accepted (clause 17); allowing the examining panel to comprise 2 members (clause 18); and changes to, and revocation of, development consent orders (clause 19). Focuses in particular on clause 19 where the government is proposing to consult on changes to secondary legislation in July 2014.
