Covers the assessment method used in the 'Yellow Book' and other European tests and assessment procedures. Looks at fire protection of beams with web openings (cellular beams), CE marking and ETAs and data sheets.

Supersedes Fire protection for structural steel in buildings (Yellow book). Volume 1 Sections 1-9. 4th edition (Revised June 2010) (ASFP, 2006). Volume 1: contains methodologies for the fire testing and assessment of structural fire protection. Volume 2: Parts 1 to 4 contain data for products according to the type of fire protection material. This Fifth edition is a major revision to include new EN test methods and revised procedures for intumescents and cellular beams.
