Abstract

Introduces the main properties of structural concrete and its mechanical behaviour under various conditions as well as all aspects of the combined function of reinforcement and concrete. Begins with basic principles and analysis methods of reinforced concrete, then looks at some more extreme circumstances, such as fatigue load, earthquake, explosion, high temperature, durability damage, and the special responses and analysis methods of its member under these conditions.
