Abstract
Specifies procedures to determine whether there is a relationship between aggregate and bitumen and its influence on the susceptibility of the combination to stripping. This is valuable for mixture design rather than type testing. The different procedures (static method or boiling water stripping method) can also be used to evaluate the effect of moisture on a given aggregate-binder combination with or without adhesion agents including liquids and fillers.
