Abstract

These worked examples apply the rules set out in the Eurocodes for two composite bridges: a multi-girder bridge and a ladder deck bridge. Both examples cover calculation of action effects, verification of girders in bending and shear, verification of adequacy of bolts and fatigue assessment.
