Abstract
Seeks views on implementing the Housing Standards Review with changes proposed to the technical standards allowing optional requirements, which if approved, are due to appear in early 2015. This consultation focusses on amendments to the Approved Documents relating to access, water efficiency and security. Additionally, a new standard is also proposed but will remain outside of the Building Regulations. This will replace existing and disparate Local Authority space requirements guidance.
