Abstract
Provides guidance for the use of Construction Operations Building information exchange (COBie) within the UK between the employer and the supply chain. Details the business processes by role and relationship and over the facility lifecycle, states the various purposes for information exchange, management and quality criteria and implementation. COBie is the UK Government preferred schema for federated building information management (BIM) (UK level 2). It can also be used for less structured projects (UK level 1) and can be used with integrated BIM (UK level 3) and a fuller building information model.
