Abstract
Presents a summary of the responses received and the government response for the 2014 consultation on reforming the regulatory system controlling small sewage discharges in England. General binding rules (GBRs) and a risk-based approach to permitting in sensitive areas will apply from January 2015. A new regulatory framework to control small sewage discharges in England will also be introduced.
