Abstract
Establishes an appropriate standard for fire safety in premises, giving guidance for assessing fire precautions, detection and alarm systems, textiles and furniture, fire safety training, bedding and sleepwear, fire signs and notices and manual fire-fighting equipment. It applies to children's homes, nursing homes and residential care homes.
