Abstract
Sets out the environmental benefits, details performance requirements, describes production and testing for hydraulically bound mixtures (HBMs) at road works. These materials are used in the sub-base and base layers and can be used as an alternative to granular material in accordance with the options given in the Specification for the reinstatement of openings in highways (SROH).
