Abstract
Gives methods of test for high-voltage air-insulated disconnectors for rated voltages above 52 kV. Describes the capacitive current switching duty and provides guidance on laboratory testing to demonstrate the switching capability, taking into account the behaviour and condition during the test. Also includes guidance for air-insulated disconnectors equipped with auxiliary interrupting devices.
