Considers the way the rest of the world is thinking about the future of cities. Looks at: the different futures predicted for cities and nations of varying sizes, levels of development and locations; some real-world examples of how policymakers at the city, national and global scales are thinking about the future of cities; and the range of future issues that cities face, and the tools that are needed to address those issues.
