Abstract
Comprises the Town and country planning (notification) (unconventional oil and gas) (Wales) direction 2015. From the 16 February 2015 planning applications for the exploration, appraisal, or extraction of unconventional oil and gas utilising unconventional techniques (including hydraulic fracturing) must be referred to the Welsh Ministers, where local planning authorities are minded to approve them.
