Abstract

Concerns Alreflex Ultratherm. This is a single-layer polyethylene bubble sheet faced with aluminium foil on one side, attached to a foil-faced rigid urethane foam board. This product is designed as thermal insulation. If installed with overlap it can also work as a cavity rain barrier in masonry cavity walls in new domestic and non-domestic buildings with a nominal residual cavity of 50 mm and without height restriction. Assesses thermal performance, water resistance, condensation, behaviour in relation to fire and durability.
