Comprises the Transport Committee's inquiry into river crossings, looking specifically at how well local and national government work together to plan and deliver river crossing projects; the knowledge, resources and experience the public sector needs to deliver large, strategically significant river crossing projects; other government priorities e.g. new house building that can be delivered through additional strategic river crossings; accuracy of existing cost-benefit analysis methods; methods for financing additional river crossings; how greater investment can be attracted from the private to the public sector for the delivery and maintenance of river crossings; tolling and technology.
