Abstract
Assesses how the planning system can deal with the spatial aspects of meeting the Scottish Government's renewable targets of generating 30% of all Scottish energy needs from renewable sources by 2020. Highlights the importance of joined-up thinking on local and national strategies and shows how certainty and predictability for developers, investors and communities can be improved.
