Abstract

Focuses on Greyfoam SL-A inverted roof insulation. This product comprises extruded polystyrene boards to be put to use in the inverted roof concept (above the roof waterproofing) on limited pedestrian access flat roofs which have zero pitch or slopes between 1:80 and 1:6. Can be used along with Roofmate MK which is a filter/water-control membrane between the insulation and the ballast layer in order to create the Roofmate MinK system. This reduces rainwater flowing underneath the insulation and resulting increased heat loss. Assesses thermal performance, condensation risk, resistance to foot traffic and durability.
