Abstract

To ensure the continuing suitability of methods for the measurement of ventilation performance. This guide looks at four types of ventilation systems and two types of fans, covering performance requirements, design and installation, airflow measurement, and testing and commissioning.

Superseded by BG 46/2022. Supersedes BG 46/2013 Domestic ventilation systems - a guide to measuring airflow rates (BSRIA, 2013). The 2015 update introduces a minimum benchmark method for measuring airflow as an additional method to conditional and unconditional methods previously described in the 2013 edition.
