Abstract
Provides advice on waste management in Scotland, looking at zero waste and growing a low carbon economy by providing alternatives to the 'make, use, dispose' culture.

Supersedes PAN 63 Waste management planning (SEDD, 2002). Related to the following: Ambition, opportunity, place - Scotland's third national planning framework (also known as NPF3); Scottish planning policy (both Scottish Government, 2014); and Scotland's zero waste plan (Scottish Government, 2010).
