Abstract

Focuses on the Swistherm grey EPS external wall insulation system. This system is designed for use on domestic and non-domestic buildings which are new or existing. It is composed of grey expanded polystyrene boards, mechanically-fixed with supplementary adhesive, reinforced basecoat and render finishes or acrylic brick-slips. Assesses thermal performance, strength and stability, behaviour in relation to fire, risk of condensation and durability.
