Abstract

The BIM roadmap encompasses three layers, introducing typical industry, corporate or project practices with varying levels of control. Layer 1 is embraces key elements of various plans of work, PAS 1192-2 and soft landings. Layer 2 focuses on strategy and implementation, systems and requirements and looks at decision making. Layer 3 brings in the role of the client employer information requirements. Also explores the BIM execution plan and asset life cycle.
