Abstract
This month’s briefing article was inspired by the new cybersecurity guidance document PAS 1192-5:2015, specifically its relationship to BIM. Amongst the news topics covered in this issue are: BIM, building design, services and structure, central government and the impact recent legislation has had on the industry, the new complaints handling standard and other management and practice-related issues, and the new international standard initiative, ICMS. Recent documents include window and door performance standards, renewable energy digests, and national annexes to concrete and steel structure design.
