Abstract
Summarises the 2010 update to Approved Document L1B in terms of work on controlled fittings (replacing windows and doors), extensions, material change of use or change in energy status and exemptions for historic or traditional buildings. Also looks at ADL1A and the considerations for daylight, target CO2 emission rate (TER) and dwelling CO2 emission rate (DER).
