Abstract
Looks at how UK high streets can be rejuvenated using a more holistic perspective focusing on socio-economic, demographic and technological factors rather than just retail, and provides new approaches, designs and models for bringing people back to the high street to enjoy well designed public spaces driving economic performance. Covers: public services and community cohesion; commercial drivers and employment; accessibility and transport; wellbeing and health; and future steps to be taken.
