Abstract

Provides practical guidance for complying with building regulation requirements relating to: ventilation, including mechanical, passive stack, background and purge or rapid. It covers new dwellings, new buildings other than dwellings and existing buildings. Looks at performance based ventilation, example calculations and how to minimise the ingress of external pollution in urban areas.
