Abstract
Guidance for radon reduction in new builds, conversions, extensions, and refurbishments of domestic and non-domestic buildings. It supports building regulations for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland and building standards in Scotland.

This guide replaces the original BR 211 guidance published in 2007, and two other earlier guidance documents: BR 376, Radon: guidance on protective measures for new dwellings in Scotland, introduced in 1999, and BR 413, Radon: guidance on protective measures for new dwellings in Northern Ireland, introduced in 2001.
