Abstract
Describes wet and dry rising mains, looking at installation factors determined in the building regulations, fire fighting shafts, sprinkler systems, fire service inlets, landing valves and their location, air release valves, security, water charged dry mains, wet risers, pumps, power supply, isolating valves, water tanks, water pressure, pressure regulating valves, number of rising mains required, testing, components and pipes and fittings.
