Abstract
Comprises an annex to the letter to Chief Planning Officers in Wales, 'New development management procedures' dated 1st February 2016. The letter provides information on the new development management procedures coming into operation 16th March 2016. Covers: pre-application consultation; local planning authority pre-application services; design and access statements; consultation in respect of certain applications; invalid applications: notice and appeal; consultation in respect of certain applications; post submission amendments; decision notices; notification of commencement of development and display of notice; local development order; permitted development and use classes order (including houses in multiple occupation); enforcement; and environmental impact assessment regulations.
