Abstract
Considers how power supply and demand can be better balanced in the UK, making practical recommendations to achieving this. Suggests that smart power in terms of interconnection, storage and demand flexibility could be the key to enabling customers to save money on their bills, helping the UK meet its 2050 carbon targets and securing the UK's energy supply long term.
