Abstract
Explores 3 contrasting scenarios for the UK's system of cities, looking at how they may change in the future. The scenarios include 'major cities empowerment' involving higher population in major cities other than London, 'London-centric' which has the highest population growth in London and the rest of the South East, and 'smaller cities focus' in which smaller cities absorb the highest proportion of population growth.
