Presents an overview of ready-mixed concrete, placing it in context of the mineral products industry, covering quality, different types and applications, whilst highlighting repairs to the main rail transport link to the South West at Dawlish as a case study. Also presents the sustainable, health and safety, restoration and biodiversity, energy and security credentials.
