Abstract
Provides guidance for the selection of surface and sub-surface drainage for UK motorway and trunk roads network. Looking at the selection process, drainage factors to be considered, edge drainage, sub-surface drainage, earthworks drainage, detailed design, pollution and flooding, signing of pollution control devices and implementing a drainage data management system.
