Abstract

Presents the findings of collaborative research by the TRL, Mineral Products Association (MPA) and Refined Bitumen Association (RBA) into lower temperature asphalt (LTA) on the UK strategic road network (SRN). The research covers a comparison of hot mix asphalt (HMA) and LTA in a live demonstration, site assessment of performance and exploration of international projects in USA and Scandinavia.
