Abstract

Provides comprehensive reference material for engineers involved in the specification and design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, ductwork, refrigeration and heat rejection, noise and vibration controls for HVAC systems. Follows the design process from concept to implementation and includes sections on strategic design decisions, design criteria, system selection, equipment and fuels.

Document History

This edition of Guide B has been superseded and replaced by separate volumes B0 - B4 and a Combined Index. Incorporates corrigendum issued 12 April 2016. The 5 separate parts for CIBSE Guide B (B1, B2, B3, B4 and B5) produced in 2001 and 2002 were amalgamated into one complete document in 2004, with minor editing to correct errors and to remove duplication, some sections, tables, equations and figures have been renumbered for consistency.
