Abstract

Presents research on pavement surface disintegration through two strands of work. The first strand is the development of improved and accurate methods for aligning data from successive surveys and the second strand is laboratory testing and investigation into the use of high-resolution 3-D parameters. Describes the development of the methods used in the research and the experimental work that was performed to validate it against reference data.
