Abstract

Focuses on a refurbishment and extension to a townhouse in Belfast to create free accommodation to the families of children undergoing treatment at a nearby cancer centre. The building also houses the charity fundraising offices which run the accommodation. The living space is situated within the original period building whereas the office space is housed in the newer extension. Areas covered include building appraisal, client's view, working detail and specification. Architect: McGonigle McGrath.
