Abstract
Presents the results of a literature review looking at the wider impacts of climate change mitigation in the transport sector and looks at the opportunities for improving mitigation in Scotland. Covers: reducing energy demand including insulation and improvements to the building fabric; shifting to a more sustainable built environment including sustainable building materials, green and blue infrastructure; improving the low carbon energy supply; and air quality.
