Abstract
Concerns the replacement of a 1960s bungalow with a timber-framed and larch-clad family home in Surrey. The project was constrained to the original building's footprint but produces a contemporary home that celebrates family life. Areas covered include building appraisal, client's view and working detail. Architect: James Gorst Architects.
