Abstract
Gives recommendations on the key aspects of property protection when hot work is being carried out. Sources of heat most commonly involved in hot work processes and covered by the recommendations are gas/electric welding and cutting apparatus, blowlamps/blowtorches, bitumen/tar boilers, grinding wheels and cutting discs, brazing and soldering.
