Abstract

Gives practical advice on how best to incorporate counter-terrorism protective security measures into proposed new development schemes from the preparation of local planning policy to the commissioning, planning, design and management of new development schemes through to detailed building design. Covers terrorist methodology, challenges for urban design, public and private space and includes case studies.
