Abstract
Letter to all local authority chief executives describing the building safety programme established by the government following the Grenfell Tower block fire in June 2017. The aim is to ensure fire safety in high-rise residential blocks. Covers large-scale tests for different combinations of cladding and insulation, where to find further information, local authorities and housing associations identification programme for the residential tower blocks to be tested and private sector building owner requirements.
