Abstract
Comprises one of a series of manifesto background papers that accompany the Planning Officers' Society's planning manifesto for the UK Government which argues for the building of a more efficient and effective planning system for meeting housing needs and delivering economic growth through the creation of sustainable development. Specifically focuses on the complexity of outline planning applications and use of red line submissions.
