Abstract
Provides guidance and describes the legal requirements for those with responsibility for ensuring fire safety in medium and large premises providing sleeping accommodation in Scotland. Covers how to carry out a fire safety risk assessment, managing fire safety, reducing the likelihood of fire, restricting the spread of fire and smoke, means of escape, detection and warning, equipment for fire fighting and facilities for fire and rescue services.
